duh

I wonder how many tax dollars went to fund this.

"This year's survey reveals a tight connection between teen sexual behavior and substance abuse," said Joseph A. Califano Jr., president of the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.

In yet another example of recognizing the obvious, one of the survey's "striking findings":

Forty-four percent of high school students think that boys at their school often or sometimes “push girls to drink alcohol or take drugs in order to get the girls to have sex or do other sexual things.”

High school boys use alchohol or drugs to help them to persuade girls to have sex? NO! Really? Hell, I'm almost forty and I use alcohol and drugs to help me to persuade girls to have sex.

Are people really that shocked by any of this? Are the typical American parents really that freakin' clueless?
