proud to be an american (?)
Amnesty International has just issued their Report 2004 on human rights abuses.
For a brief overview, read this.
The sections on the United States and the American government's actions in Iraq are shameful.
It should be required reading. So read it.
These people, this regime, they represent us. They act in our name. They are us in the eyes of the world.
I'm appalled, I'm disgusted. And the only thing I can do is to make sure that everyone I know gets registered to and then actually does vote in November.
